Nomi December 2025 Product Updates for Accountants

In December 2025, Nomi released updates to improve control, accuracy, and efficiency across the platform. The changes cover Bookkeeping, Final Accounts, Payroll, and Self-Assessment, helping users stay compliant and work more smoothly.

Read only access improves data security, while automation makes tax and payroll tasks easier. System improvements also improve reliability and support MTD ITSA quarterly submissions and multiple businesses.

 

Bookkeeping

Read-only functionality – Our read-only functionality gives you full visibility of your financial data without any risk. Final Accounts

Enhanced Automation for Supplementary CT600A Form – We have significantly enhanced the automation of the supplementary CT600A form to smooth the corporation tax submission process. The improvements reduce manual intervention, improve accuracy, and ensure better alignment with HMRC requirements.

Key calculations and validations are now handled automatically, helping to minimise errors and save time during preparation and review. The updated automation also supports smoother data flow from underlying records, making the completion of the CT600A more efficient and reliable.

Overall, these enhancements deliver a faster, more robust, and user-friendly experience for preparing and submitting supplementary corporation tax information.

 

Payroll

Notes Section Added to Pay Details –ย  This feature allows the employer to add and update notes for individual employees directly within the Pay Details page. It helps the employer record important information, reminders, or specific details related to an employeeโ€™s pay or work arrangements, all in one place.

We believe this update will help the employer manage employee information more effectively and improve overall record-keeping.

Auto Enrolment โ€“ Pension Contribution Validation – We introduced an enhancement to Auto Enrolment – Pension Contribution Validation to better support the employer. The system now validates pension contributions based on the minimum total required contribution, rather than checking employer and employee percentages separately.

A warning will only appear when the combined contribution falls below the required minimum. For example, contributions of 5% from the employer and 2% from the employee will trigger a warning, while 7% and 1% will not.

Additionally, when a fixed pension amount is entered for an individual employee, the system automatically checks it against the minimum requirement and alerts the employer if it is insufficient.

Automatic File Management for S3: Improved Efficiency and Reliability –ย  Weโ€™ve added a new improvement that helps manage system files more efficiently behind the scenes. Using secure AWS technology, static files (such as documents or stored system resources) are now automatically moved to the correct storage location when needed.

For the employer, this means better system performance, improved reliability, and no manual action required. Files are organised properly, stored securely, and accessed more smoothly without impacting daily use.

This update helps keep the system running efficiently while ensuring important files are always handled safely and correctly.

 

Self-Assessment

MTD ITSA โ€“ Calendar Quarters & Multiple Businesses
New functionality enables quarterly submissions based on calendar quarters, along with enhanced support for managing and submitting data for multiple businesses within MTD ITSA.

These December 2025 updates reinforce Nomiโ€™s commitment to accuracy, compliance, and ease of use. The enhancements reduce manual effort while improving data security and system reliability.
