In November 2025, Nomi introduced major updates across Bookkeeping, Final Accounts, Payroll, and Self-Assessment. Bookkeeping now features faster and more accurate receipt processing, instant creation of nominal accounts, and clearer validation messages for smoother data entry. Final Accounts sees improved integration with Zoho Books and QuickBooks for seamless trial balance imports. Payroll allows multiple hourly pay types and faster draft payslip reviews. Self-Assessment adds a consistent, easy-to-use date picker. These updates enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall user experience for all Nomi software users.

Bookkeeping Software

Improvement in Ready to Post Receipts – At Nomi, we’ve significantly enhanced our OCR technology to make receipt processing faster and more accurate. The system now automatically separates fully extracted receipts from partially extracted ones, so you only need to review items that need attention.

We’ve also added a bulk-posting feature, letting you process and post receipts in batches. With better data-capture accuracy, you’ll see cleaner, more consistent results, fewer manual corrections, and smoother workflow overall. These upgrades make receipt management smarter and way more efficient.

Create New Nominal Account – Nomi now lets you create a new nominal account directly from New Sales, New Bill, New Bank Transaction, or New Journal pages. If a required account doesn’t exist, you can add it instantly without leaving the page.

The new account appears immediately in the dropdown list—no refresh needed. This saves time, reduces repetitive navigation, and keeps your workflow smooth and uninterrupted.

New and Improved Validation Messages – Validation messages across Bookkeeping are now clearer, more accurate, and easier to understand. They provide precise guidance on what needs fixing, helping you spot mistakes quickly and act correctly.

By using simple, user-friendly language, these updates reduce confusion and unnecessary back-and-forth. The result? A smoother, more intuitive bookkeeping experience with better accuracy and confidence.

Final Accounts Software

Enhanced Integration for Zoho Books and QuickBooks – Integration with Zoho Books and QuickBooks for importing Trial Balances is now much smoother. Data sync is faster, manual effort is reduced, and import/export accuracy is improved.

We also fixed several issues with nominal code mapping, so transactions link to the correct accounts. These updates reduce errors, strengthen reporting, and give you clearer visibility and control over your financial data.

Payroll Software

Ability to Add Multiple Hourly Pay Types – Employers can now add up to 20 hourly pay types instead of just 9. This gives more flexibility for teams with different shifts, allowances, or pay structures. Everything can be managed in one place, reducing errors and saving time.

View Draft Payslip Improvements – Draft payslips now load faster, and you can select individual employees to view their drafts. Previously, this wasn’t possible, which slowed down the process.

This update saves time, reduces mistakes, and makes reviewing payslips easier, helping payroll run more efficiently and confidently.

Self Assessment Software

Date Picker Functionality – A new date picker has been added across the SA and PTR modules. It improves consistency, usability, and makes selecting dates simpler for everyone.
